The Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) has a page explaining the problem with H-1B visas. They explain the history of the H-1B and how it is used to unfairly hurt American workers. I've argued against H-1B visas (and the unfortunate outcome of working with H-1B visa holders) in the past, but I recommend reading FAIR's explanation because they do a good job of it.
