Stop Offshoring

I recently read a review of a book called "America's Engineered Decline". It may be of interest to those who also believe that offshoring is an overall negative for the U.S. By exporting our jobs to workers abroad or importing unskilled immigrants, Americans are participating in a "race to the bottom". Rather than prospering from the current fad of cheap foreign labor, the U.S. is exhibiting symptoms of Third World countries, including increased poverty, crime, and corruption. Is this really the path that we want to embark on??
