Stop Offshoring

The company that I work for went through some layoffs recently. I won't disclose the reasons why or how many people were let go, but I found it frustrating that all of the layoffs occurred in the U.S. No one on the offshore team was let go. Even when rumors of layoffs were circulating and people were wondering if their jobs would be cut, no mention was made of cuts offshore. It was as if they were safe while we had to endure weeks of uncertainty. This is yet another example of how American companies treat their state-side employees like crap compared to their investments overseas.
