Stop Offshoring

A ZDNet news article cites a DiamondCluster study that found the number of offshoring customers satisfied with their providers fell from 79% to 62%. Additionally, the number of customers prematurely terminating their offshoring relationships doubled to 51%.

More news about offshoring failures needs to be made public for businesses to understand the mess they will get into when they offshore jobs. It appears that some companies are realizing that offshoring isn't the silver bullet they hoped it would be, and that they get what they pay for when they hire offshore employees, and, in my experience, even less than they paid for.
