Stop Offshoring

Kudos to Ohio governor Tim Strickland for banning the practice off sending his state's government work to offshore workers. In defending the decision, Strickland said that "no one in India, or anywhere else, is going to tell the citizens of Ohio where we can create jobs or how we can spend our resources." Makes sense to me!

Unfortunately, at the national level, Republican senators have stopped the "Creating American Jobs and Ending Offshoring” bill. The bill would have removed financial incentives for companies that send jobs abroad and rather reward those that create jobs in the U.S. It boggles the mind that U.S. senators would vote against creating more American jobs.
